摘要
Quality of Service (QoS) guaranteed applications in cyber-physical systems(CPS) are facing rigid constraints such as the real-time requirement and energy consumption budget. However, while existing scheduling schemes are efficient to meet the end-to-end deadlines by adaptively adjusting the task loading rate, little efforts has been devoted to improve system service rate and CPU execution modes for minimized system power consumption. In this paper, we present a feedback control based Operation Mode Tuning Scheme (OMTS), to assign proper execution modes on processor for each node. OMTS can adaptively maintains desired task service rate for real-time requirement while minimizing the power consumption. The theoretic analysis and experimental results show that the proposed scheme can provide robust real-time guarantees while reducing power consumption for changing task workloads.
