Long term outcomes of patients with Acute Myeloid Leukemia treated with myeloablative FTBI based conditioning with Tacrolimus and sirolimus based GVHD prophylaxis regimen: 6 year follow up from Single Center.

•Fractionated total body irradiation-based myeloablative conditioning is well tolerated in young adults with acute myelogenous leukemia.•Tacrolimus/sirolimus graft-versus-host disease (GVHD) prophylaxis was associated with high rates of chronic GVHD (71%).•GVHD-free, relapse free survival at 2 years was low (39%), indicating the dynamic nature of chronic GVHD.•This regimen was associated with a low risk of long-term toxicities.
