摘要

•Minimally invasive C2 direct repair is often recognized as a motion preserving operation.•Seven patients underwent repair of atypical hangman’s fracture by trans-pedicular fixation using the tubular retractor system.•No intraoperative neuro-vascular injury or postoperative complications. CT images demonstrated a stable construct occurred.
