3P association (3PAs): Pituitary adenoma and pheochromocytoma/paraganglioma. A heterogeneous clinical syndrome associated with different gene mutations.

•PA associated to Pheo/PGL could have a common pathogenic mechanism.•We found germline mutation in SDHB, SDHD and 2 VUS in MEN1 and RET.•Hereditary diseases should be considered in patients with this tumour association.
