L’échographie initiale montrait une structure tubulaire tortueuse de 3,8 × 2,5 × 2,0 cm, ce qui suggérait un hydrosalpinx (figure 1). L'intervention a été faite par voie transvaginale et a été guidée par échographie. Le liquide de l'hydrosalpinx a d'abord été aspiré à l'aide d'une aiguille de calibre 19. Nous avons obtenu 10 ml de liquide brun foncé. On a donc injecté la moitié de cette quantité d’éthanol à 98 % dans la trompe. Le produit a agi pendant 10 minutes et a ensuite été retiré. Une échographie de suivi faite 12 jours après l'intervention a confirmé qu'il n'y avait plus d'hydrosalpinx (figure 2).
