IL-17F expression correlates with clinicopathologic factors and biological markers in non-small cell lung cancer.

•IL-17F is negatively associated with malignant biological behavior of NSCLC cells and is an independent factor that affects TNM staging.•IL-17F expression is negatively correlated to MVD-CD31 and positively correlated to E-cadherin in NSCLC tissues.•IL-17F may be considered as a potential marker for predicting the progression of NSCLC.
