摘要
•24 cyclic compounds were assessed for DNA reactivity in embryo-fetal chicken livers.•Unsubstituted compounds yielded negative results.•Most compounds with various substitutions produced DNA damage.•Substituted polycyclic compounds were more potent compared to monocyclic chemicals.•These finding support use of chicken egg model for structure-activity assessment.
