Bilateral intermittent nasal obstruction in adolescent rats leads to the growth defects of mandibular condyle.

•This study aimed to evaluate the effects of nasal obstruction on the growth of mandible especially condyle.•Bilateral intermittent nasal obstruction during adolescence would result in growth defects of mandible.•Suppression in the condylar growth might be related to the chondrogenic differentiation of condylar MSCs.
