摘要
Actinic cheilitis (AC) is considered a precancerous lesion of the lip. Renal transplant recipients (RTR) have a higher susceptibility to human papillomavirus (HPV) infections and lip squamous cell carcinoma (SCC). Over 200 HPV types were described and most cluster within the α-, β- and γ-HPV genera. Merkel Cell Polyomavirus (MCPyV) and several HPVs are associated with skin affections including cancer. We evaluated the association of MCPyV, HPVs and related biomarkers with AC. This article is protected by copyright. All rights reserved.
