Descriptive Study of 2014 China per capita wage of people in employment from different industries and various regions

This paper is to find the difference of average wage in various industries and in all the China province areas, and the data are obtained from Chinese statistical yearbook. Through the descriptive study, in the view of Industries, people engaged in Finance, Energy, High-Tech, and Information Technology have higher salaries, while people in service industries often have lower salaries. The difference of wage in areas is also found, with Beijing and Shanghai having the highest salaries compared with other province regions. Hierarchical Clustering method is used to segment province regions by their various industrial salaries.
