摘要

•Non-Intrusive Polynomial Chaos (NPIC) method has been applied for uncertainty analysis of the SPND model.•NIPC method and Random Sampling (RS) method are compared in terms of the variances of the SPND responses.•The results show NIPC method outperforms RS method in uncertainty quantification in terms of calculation costs.
