摘要

•C budget of a hemiboreal mixed forest was estimated by EC and chamber methods.•NEE, GPP and RE in 2015 were -585, -1281, and 696 g m−2 yr-1, respectively.•The forest was a high net carbon sink with lower RE than in temperate forests.•The higher proportion of deciduous trees was associated with bigger NEP.•C was sequestered mainly in tree biomass whereas litter input balanced soil Rh.
