Abstract
Background: Much has been studied about condylar resorptions and aggravation of temporomandibular disorders (TMD) in patients submitted to anti-clockwise rotation of the maxillomandibular complex (ACRMMC). One of the treatment modalities, together with orthognathic surgery, is the discopexy that aims to reposition the articular disc and compensate for its new relationship with the condyle.
