Abstract
•Catalytic co-pyrolysis of kitchen waste and tire waste over ZSM-5 was investigated.•Synergism of kitchen waste and tire waste improved pyrolysis reactivity.•Blending 50% tire waste was optimum for decreasing the activation energy.•The total peak area of volatiles were improved after mixing.•The selectivity of hydrocarbons was increased during co-pyrolysis process.
