Abstract
Probabilistic shaping PAM4 for visible light communications is demonstrated. Experiment is conducted over a 2-MHz-bandwidth white LED and 1.2m optical wireless channel. Benefitting from probabilistic shaping, lower symbol error rate and transmitting power are achieved.
