Abstract
•Cronbach's alpha for bowel and urinary domains at five weeks were very similar to those in the validity study with men.•Correlations suggested the bowel and urinary domains are measuring conceptually discrete components of health.•EPIC bowel and urinary domains provided valid assessment of toxicity in women undergoing postoperative radiation therapy.
