Residual lifetime assessment of cold-reheater pipe in coal-fired power plant through accelerated degradation test

•Residual life of serviced Gr.11 CRH steel pipes was estimated with creep tests.•CRH pipes were used for 23 years at 310 °C in a coal-fired power plant.•Creep tests were performed for aged and fresh steels under various σ and T.•The residual life of the serviced pipes is 53% at the current conditions.
