Integrated circuit model of terahertz detector based on SPICE

Abstract
Terahertz detector consists of an absorber and a microbolometer, however, the existing circuit models cannot respond to the coupling relationship between absorber and microbolometer. A novel integrated circuit model based on SPICE is proposed, in which the terahertz absorber model is coupled. In the thermal SPICE model, capacitance is used to simulate the thermal capacity of the sensing unit, and resistance is used to simulate the thermal conductivity of the sensing unit. In the electrical SPICE model, transmission line is used to simulate the absorption layer, meanwhile, a transformer is introduced to reflect the effect of absorptivity. After comparing the results of the COMSOL and SPICE, the results of the SPICE model are basically the same as those of the finite element simulation. This model provides convenience for future integrated design of terahertz.
