French Translation and Validation of the Mayo High Performance Teamwork Scale for Nursing Students in a High-Fidelity Simulation Context

•High-fidelity simulation is a reliable method to train in teamwork in multidisciplinary teams.•A French translation of the Mayo High Performance Teamwork Scale was undertaken.•The French version of the scale showed acceptable psychometric properties in nursing populations.•Future studies should focus on the validation of the scale for heteroevaluation.•Further adaptations might be needed to enable the use of this scale by novice and other health professionals.
