New hydrogen bonding motifs of phosphine oxides with a silanediol, a phenol, and chloroform

Three new phosphine oxide adducts of hydrogen donors with heretofore unknown types of hydrogen bonding motifs have been obtained and characterized by single crystal X-ray structures, IR, and NMR spectroscopy. This paper highlights the immense structural diversity of PO⋯H interactions and additionally, the shown adduct displays a linear siloxane group.
