Abstract
•Bio-based epoxidized chitosan-oligoaniline hydrogel coatings were developed.•Samples were examined for cyclic voltammetry, UV/Vis. and swelling ratio (SR).•SR of electroactive epoxidized chitosan decreased 150% compared to reference (500%).•Degradation rate was decreased by increasing oligoaniline content.
