RF sheath modeling of experimentally observed plasma surface interactions with the JET ITER-Like Antenna

•Distributions of E// field and VDC potential were calculated for ITER-Like Antenna.•Areas with increased values of E// near-field and VDC potential were identified.•Higher VDC potential values were computed for the profiles with lower q95.•Good qualitative correlation between measured data increase and simulated results.
