Abstract
Introduction: GaTATE PET-CT is an imaging modality leveraging high affinity binding of neuroendocrine tumours (NETs) for gadolinium-68 labelled octreotide and has a high sensitivity and specificity for detection of NETs.1 However, splenunculi are a known mimic of NETs due to high uptake of the GaTATE radiotracer, with an incidence in the tail of the pancreas of approximately 2%.1,2
