Finishing bulls have more synchronised behaviour in pastures than in pens
Applied Animal Behaviour Science(2019)
Abstract
•Finishing bulls had more synchronised behaviour in pastures than in pens.•This was the case for lying, eating and standing, as well as for them together.•The higher level of synchronisation may imply more natural social behaviour.•The effects of allelomimicry and concurrence on the difference are discussed.
