Duration of response is associated with treatment resistance in accelerated iTBS protocol for treatment-resistant depression

Objective: A novel accelerated intermittent theta-burst stimulation (aiTBS) protocol has been established for treatment-resistant depression (TRD) that is shown to be effective within 5 days. In this study we analyze the differences in duration of response between the participants with higher scores on the Maudsley Staging Method (MSM=14) compared to the participants with lower scores on the MSM (MSM 7-13). We hypothesized that the lower scores in severity on MSM would predict longer duration of response.
