Abstract
In this paper, we proposed the design of a 36-Watt Light emitting diode (LED) lighting equipment with radiation disturbance reduction. The electromagnetic radiation disturbance is initially reduced by increasing the wire thickness of the conventional LED SMPS 0.7 mm, which was further decreased by placing the ferrite core at the SMPS input port. We measured the electromagnetic interference (EMI) of manufactured LED lighting equipment according to international standard CISPR 15. Analyzed results show that, the radiation disturbance of the proposed design is reduced by about 9 dB mu V/m compared to the maximum value of the conventional equipment.
