Abstract
Introdution: Impalpable breast lesions are on the rise due to extension of the screening programme as well as increased use of new imaging modalities. Over the last decade new techniques of localisation have emerged which may replace the gold standard technique of wire localisation. The aim of the study was to determine the use of wire guided occult lesion localisation in our unit and to assess its efficacy.
