Abstract
Background: Ad-hoc ANCA/GBM testing (AAT), performed within 24 h of receiving the sample, is expensive and labour intensive but is useful for rapid diagnosis of ANCA/GBM related-vasculitis. Increasing demand for AAT is having an impact on laboratory resources.
