Effects of acetone on the hydrogenation of diisopropylimine over supported nickel catalysts
Catalysis Communications(2019)
摘要
The effects of acetone on the hydrogenation of diisopropylimine (DIPI) over Ni catalysts were studied. Microcalorimetric adsorption and infrared spectroscopy were employed to determine the surface bond strengths and structures of related species adsorbed on Ni. The results demonstrated that acetone was hydrogenated to isopropanol that accelerated the hydrogenation of DIPI. Since the acidic support promoted the hydrogenation of acetone on Ni, Ni/Al2O3 was more favorable than Ni/LaAlO for the increase of activity for the hydrogenation of DIPI in the presence of acetone.
