Abstract
•Nine isoxazoles have been prepared by reacting hydroxylamine with curcumin and hemicurcuminoid diketones.•1H, 13C, 15N and 19F NMR in solution and in solid state helped to establish the structure of the isomeric isoxazoles.•The X-ray structures of three isoxazoles correspond to a single molecule, a hydrate and a methanol solvate.
