Four high-dimensional compounds constructed from V-shaped multidentate organic ligands and octamolybdates: Syntheses, crystal structures and properties

Four high-dimensional octamolybdate-based hybrids were synthesized under hydrothermal conditions. Compounds 1 and 2 with helical chains exhibit three-dimensional (3D) frameworks. Compounds 3 and 4 are 2D layers structures. The difference in structures of the four compounds indicates that the pH value is the crucial factors.
