Abstract
Genomic analysis of circulating tumor cells (CTCs) can provide a unique insight into metastasis mutational diversity and reveal undiagnosed aberrations in matched metastasis biopsies from patients with castration-resistant prostate cancer. Our findings emphasize the clinical potential of detection of such aberrations in CTCs via minimally invasive blood draws.
