Design of Home Appliance Control System in Smart Home based on WiFi IoT

Aiming at an issue of regional limitation of controlling and monitoring in home appliances, a remote controlling and monitoring system of home appliances is designed, whose core MCU is STM32F103VET6. In the system, hardware is designed by Altium Designer and software is programmed by Keil MDK. Using the China Mobile IoT open platform as a relay server, a handheld control Terminal APP is developed by Android. The system realizes the real-time remote monitoring, reporting and controlling for home appliances through WiFi networking. The trial result indicates that the system operates in stabilization, which can be used to detect the status of home appliances by smart phone or other handheld mobile terminals for home appliances such as electric lamps and air-conditioning.
