Sliding Mode Control for a Distributed Generation Unit Based on Photovoltaic Sources

摘要
This paper presents a robust control strategy for the operation of a distributed generation unit when it is both connected and disconnected of a main electrical network with a local load. The proposed controller has a cascade structure, using sliding mode control algorithms (relay and super-twisting) for DC and AC currents, and a proportional integral control algorithm to regulate the DC and AC capacitor voltages. Finally, numerical simulations based on the averaged model are conducted to show the feasibility of the proposed control strategy.
