A new species and a new variety of Lamiaceae from Zhejiang, eastern China

Meehania hongliniana and Paraphlomis shunchangensis var. pubicarpa, a new species and a new variety of Lamiaceae from Zhejiang, eastern China, are described with illustrations. Meehania hongliniana is morphologically similar to M. faberi, but differs in its dimorphic stems, ovate and serrate bracts and longer calyces. Paraphlomis shunchangensis var. pubicarpa differs from the autonymous variety by having 4-12-flowered verticillasters, sparsely pubescent filaments and corolla, pubescent ovaries and apex of nutlets densely short-hirsute.
