Abstract
The access of distributed generations (DG) such as wind power and photovoltaics, and the volatility of the load will cause complex uncertainties in the transmission network, which can make certain influence on the transmission performance of the power network. This paper proposed a transmission passage expansion planning method considering both uncertainties and clusters of multi-scenarios. Firstly construct a multi-scenario model with LHS algorithm to deal with the impact of fluctuation of load and uncertainties of DG, and reduce the numbers of operation scenes with Affinity propagation (AP) clustering algorithm. Then a two-layer optimization model of transmission passage expansion is established, aiming at improving the economy and DG capacity of the transmission network. The case study results show that the planning method proposed in this paper can effectively improve the DG consumption capacity and ensure the economic benefits and stability of the transmission network.
