摘要
This paper presents a method for the optimization of the three-dimensional electromagnetic devices. The method involves combining several virtual environment like the program dedicated to design in this case SolidWorks interconnected with the program specialized for simulation, COMSOL Multiphysics. The second stage implies the usage of the MATLAB programming environment for commending and connecting the Nondominated Sorting Genetic Algorithm-II (NSGA-II) with a unique sorting algorithm developed for this situation. The reliability and efficiency of this method is given by minimizing the human involvement in manipulating files and interest data by connecting in background the used modules. The operator's intervention is being reduced to the introduction of only the necessary data for NSGA-II optimization process, therefore the result is reducing the time needed to optimize a model and eliminating human error.
