Abstract
A numerical solution of the development of variable conductivity, thermal radiation dissipative natural convective Blasius and Sakiadis flows in a suspension of active and passive flow conditions being present. A set of transformed governing nonlinear coupled ordinary differential equations were solved numerically using Runge-Kutta based Fehlberg-integration technique. The effect of dimensionless parameters on velocity, temperature and concentration profiles along with the friction factor coefficients, Nusselt number, and the Sherwood numbers were discussed with the help of graphs and tables. The results obtained are fascinatingly agreed with the numerical solutions along with the previously published study. The effect of thermal radiation parameter reduces the friction factor coefficient as well as heat transfer. The rate of heat transfer is very high in Blasius flow compared to the Sakiadis flow.
