The Diaoquan Ag-Cu polymetallic skarn mineralization in central North China Craton: Timing, source and genetic model

•The Diaoquan Ag-Cu deposit formed at about 130 Ma, during the peak stage of the destruction of NCC.•The metallogenic components were sourced from both mantle and crust.•The inner and deeper domains of the intrusions have good potential for future prospecting.
