Abstract
A new deep-sea gas-tight isobaric sampler has been designed to collect seawater at a depth of 11000m. The structural principle and some key technologies have been discussed and investigated in this paper. The sample valve which is one of the most important components of the sampler entails a self-tight seal structure. To ensure the correctness and accuracy of the design, the deformation of sample chamber and poppet-seat contact sealing performance of the sample valve were studied by means of finite element analysis in this dissertation.
