Abstract
•Composite scaffolds consisting of PCL and silanated silica particles were proposed for bone tissue regeneration.•The composite scaffolds were fabricated using a simple melt-blending method and a melt-3D printing process.•The composite scaffolds showed remarkable physical properties.•The composite scaffolds produced significant osteogenic differentiation results.
