In the smart grid, because different services have different communication quality requirements, a single communication method cannot meet all service requirements at all and cannot provide users with an integrated network with high bandwidth and wide coverage independently. Therefore, there is a power line and wireless heterogeneous communication network. However, when there are two or more communication modes between two communication nodes, they need to be analyzed and judged so as to select the optimal transmission path. Therefore, when there are two ways of communication between two nodes: power line carrier and wireless communication, how to perform channel selection becomes a key issue. This article combines the characteristics of the two communication methods to study the power line and wireless heterogeneous networking solutions. AHP (Analytic Hierarchy Process) heterogeneous network switching algorithm is implemented and a simulation model is established. Using MATLAB simulation software, the network selection judgment results based on AHP algorithm are analyzed according to different services.
