Industrially Perc Solar Cells With Integrated Front-Side Optimization

In this paper, we proposed a significant improvement for cell efficiency of 1.2% abs by optimizing the front side structure of PERC solar cells without any additional equipment. The feasible achievement includes triple silicon oxynitride anti-reflection coating (ARC) layers which absorb more incident light for base than silicon nitride single layer. Knotless screen printing with fine-line finger of 23 mu m width compares to that of conventional screen printing. Moreover, multi-busbars contact pattern was optimized instead of four busbars contact pattern. As a result, the best efficiency of PERC solar cells of 21.51% with an area size of 244.32 cm(2) was obtained, which can be utilized for industrial production.
