摘要
This work presents an evolution of the design of a imaging system capable of generating high resolution images in real time at a standoff distance of 8 m and a field of view (FoV) of 80 χ 50 cm. The initial prototype, which has been constructed and validated, presents an important limitation that deteriorates the quality of the obtained reconstruction. The system uses a monostatic configuration that can misrepresent certain areas of the target. Depending on the deviation between the back and forth paths, the system may not be able to receive the real response produced by the OUT. Due to this situation, the use of secondary spherical wave transmitters that maximize the amount of information received by the system is proposed. This article presents the description of the new bistatic configuration and the results obtained through the simulation of different scenarios.
