Abstract
We propose an asymmetric three-dimensional modulation for multi-lane IM-DD transmission. Simulation results show that the proposed scheme enables multi-lane 112-Gb/s PAM signals to be tolerant to cumulative dispersion of -200 ps/nm and experimental results show the feasibility to 114- Gb/s/λ transmission.
