摘要
This paper gives brief idea about design and development of SPWM's three-step voltage source inverter. PWM is mainly applied to many industrial applications in which good performance is required. The SPWM pulses is produced by comparing reference signal and carrier signal that is sinusoidal wave and triangular wave. When the amplitude of sine wave is greater than triangular wave then pulses starts produce to high and when amplitude of triangular signal is greater than sine signal then pulses will come to low. The output of SPWM is changed by changing modulation index, frequency. The inverter output with SPWM gives lower Total Harmonic Distortion.
