Heterogeneidades económicas en territorios de la Región de Valparaíso-Chile: aproximaciones y emergencias de otras formas económicas // Economic heterogeneity in territories of the Valparaíso Region-Chile: approaches and emergence of other economic forms

The Valparaiso Region (Chile) is strongly influenced by three major economic activities: mining, extensive monoculture and the services sector. Though these production activities cause a reduction in local economic diversity, they also present fissures and even opportunities for the development of diverse economic initiatives which are analyzed through a qualitative and emerging methodology. The results evince heterogeneous economic practices in terms of temporalities, territorial contexts, purposes and future prospects.
