Abstract
Background: Fecal incontinence is a debilitating condition that can be socially and personally incapacitating. Though a broad range of medical and surgical management options are available, definitive treatment is challenging. New treatment is developed such as a minimally invasive endoanal procedure based on temperature-controlled radio frequency energy delivered to the anal canal muscle. We aim to conduct a systematic review and meta-analysis to access the effectiveness of this new treatment.
