摘要

•Postoperative major adverse cardiac events (MACE) occur in 0.1% bariatric surgeries.•Bariatric Surgery with MACE or dysrhythmia has higher mortality rates, up to 0.8%.•Age, gender, and comorbidities can predict MACE after bariatric surgery.•Compared to sleeve gastrectomy, gastric bypass does not increase the risk of MACE.
