Abstract
Complexation behavior 6,6″-dimethyl-2,2′:6′,2″-terpyridine ligand (L) with Co(II), Au(III), Ag(I), Zn(II) and Cd(II) metal ions presented unique structures as incomplete tridentate coordination of ligand L, its oxidative transformation or the formation of mixed solid state solutions. Previously synthesized complexes of ligand L shows possibility for applicative potential for new metallosupramolecular architectures.
